Crawfish
Lake
The lake is located 15 miles northeast
of Omak. The north half of the lake is on USFS land, the south half is
on the Colville Indian Reservation. If you plan to fish both ends of the
lake, you would need to have a fishing permit from the Colville Indian
Tribe and also a Washington permit! Most of the property along the shoreline
of the lake is privately owned, with a US Forest Service campground occupying
the northeast side of the lake. Boat Motors have been prohibited on the
lake since 1996. Crawfish lake offers public fishing, rowing, canoeing,
kayaking camping and swimming. Some consider the Crawfish in this lake
to be a fine delicacy! |
East Side
Omak City Park
This 76.6
acre destination park is located in East Omak directly across the river
from the central Omak business district. The park offers a Tent Camping
area, 68 space full service RV area a basketball court, skateboard ramps,
walking trails, playground equipment, baseball fields, picnic area, swimming
pool and a rodeo ground. Within walking distance of downtown Omak. |
